The Carbon Metal Express – CME – was originally refined at UKSF and SIPS World Championships, taking a fixed spool reel – World Record in the process. (100gram – 0.28mm line – distance 225m). Since then CME has become one of a small band of classic rods that have won universal acclaim from anglers and voted best beach rod by the readers of Total Sea Fishing magazine. Capable with either fixed spool or multiplier reels. The butt section has a taper rather than the parallel style and this subtly contributes towards the overall action.
The CME proscribes a parabolic C curve when fully compressed rather than the J curve of faster actions. Timing is less critical in the cast and bite detection is effective. The rod tip is stable in stormy conditions.
The CME reduces tiredness and can be repetitively cast without strain and has received exemplary reviews by knowledgeable anglers and casters.

Remember to minimise line twist – one of the principal reasons for line coiling using fixed spool reels - by paying regular attention to this aspect. Please consult your reel manufacturer or dealer for detailed advice and guidance.
